TRADITIONAL SILKS

 Traditional racing silks are constructed of 100% nylon taffeta or 100% nylon satin. Nylon taffeta fabric is similar to a light weight windbreaker fabric. Nylon satin is a heavier fabric with a high luster. Both fabrics are water resistent, water repellent, and are machine washable.

  • Designs are appliqued and SATIN STITCHED for beauty and durability
  • Larger designs are DOUBLE EDGED STITCHED
  • Sturdy SNAP FRONTS
  • Right shoulder tab for arm band numbers
  • Always accessorized with a BOW TIE

We stock the taffeta in 50 colors and the satin in 20 colors. Special orders for other colors (if available) can be placed at an extra charge.

 AERODYNAMIC

 AERODYNAMIC form fitting jockey silks are made from machine washable top quality 4-way stretch nylon / lycra. This is among the most comfortable and durable fabrics available to the sporting industry today.

This fabric breathes by allowing air to circulate through the fabric and wicks perspiration quickly away to keep the skin cool and comfortable. 27 colors are in stock with many others available by special order at an extra charge. Available with 7" neck opening zipper.
