How do I place an order?

The preferred method of placing an order is via email or fax .  We do not have an automated system to place orders as there are too many variations to consider for an automated system to work.   Emailing is usually the best way way to place your order or ask questions as we are often unable to get to the phone while working on orders.  You do not have to submit a drawing or silk selector design, you can simply tell us what you would like.  While you do not have to submit the actual form, we do need to know the information it asks for.  If you call and we do not answer, please leave a message so that we can get back to you.


How do I pay for my order?

You can pay by check, give us your payment information over the phone or we can generate an invoice to be emailed to you to pay online.  If you choose to pay over the phone we can only take Visa and MasterCard, there are other payment options if you pay online.  Orders must be paid for in full before they can be started.


How long will it take to receive my order?

It usually takes about 2-3 weeks, depending on the time of year. 


Do you offer an expedited service?

Yes we do.  The cost is 40% of the total and gets the order turned around in a couple days rather than a couple weeks.  Expedited shipping is not included in this cost.  


Do silks come in different sizes?

No, silks only come in one size.  The approximate size is equivalent to about a mens size large.  They are oversized to fit over the flack vest that must be worn in addition to being long to stay tucked in.


​Do you have costume silks?

While they may be worn as costumes, they are all made the same and only come in one size.  We do not have children's sizes.


I don't see lettering as an option on the design page, can I add lettering?

Yes you can.  If you have designed your silks on the silk selector program there is no option to add lettering, if you wish to do so you can just tell us what you'd like to add.


I like a design in one of the galleries, can I order the exact same thing?

No.  The silks in the galleries are to show different design options and what different colors look like together.  It's there to spark your imagination.  We will not duplicate silks.


What is your return policy?

Because all of our products are made to your specifications there are no returns.  Be certain that your design, style and color are correct before placing your order.


Do you offer embroidery services?

No we do not.  All of our designs are appliquéd not embroidered.


Do I have to register my silks?

If you are planning to race in New York you must register your silks with the New York Jockey Club.  They have very specific guidelines to follow so we recommend contacting them to be sure what you want is available to register.  It is best for you to contact them rather than us as they may not have what you want available and will suggest other options.  If you are not racing in New York you do not need to register your silks.  


What is the thing on the right shoulder?

​That is called an epaulette, it's what the post position number attaches to to help keep the sleeve from being torn.
